On this page, you get to see the history behind Zephyria and meet the friendly staff. Each staff member is here to help the community and make it a safe place for everyone. We take our positions seriously but we also want to be a part of the community to help people grow and create on our servers.
Our History
Trash SMP Season 4
The beginning of Zephyria begins at the Trash SMP. Started by Trashmammall (centre), it was a server that hosted a completely unique community. Trash was the owner and kept it running up until late 2024 when it formally closed. Zen was brought in before the closure to try and keep it running but it ended up closing anyway due to personal reasons for Trash. Due to the closure of the SMP, Zen began to look for a new server host and eventually found one through Folium Hosting. During the stages of early access the only players on Zephyria were those from the Trash SMP. The mod team is shown in the background image and they became like a family. Sadly only a few moderators from the Trash SMP actively play on Zephyria. The mod team of 2024 were:

Founder/Owner – Zen
ELLO CHATTERS!
My name is Zen Lally, I am the owner here at the Zephyria Network, I coded the Zephyria Network from the ground up alongside my trusty sidekick Crow who also makes a great janitor!
When I’m not downing ginger beer and typing away at 3 AM, you’ll find me bouncing between coding new features, managing our amazing team, and making sure everyone’s workflow is running smoothly!
I’m big on making sure our team feels like a family and all are or are close to besties.
One of my favorite things is hanging out in chat and seeing all your awesome ideas in the ideas channel. I get way too excited about your suggestions (seriously, some of you should be on the dev team with those mega big brains). I make it my mission to read every single message and reply when I can, because YOU are the ones steering this ship. Whatever direction Zephyria heads in, that’s up to you – I’m just here to make it happen!
Fun fact: I spend so much time coding new stuff that Courtney occasionally has to remind me to eat. But hey, when you’re passionate about making something awesome, who needs food, right? 😄

Survival Manager – Benny
Hi, my name is Benny, and I’m primarily known online as Benny490. I serve as the Survival Manager here at Zephyria, which means I am responsible for ensuring that the Survival server runs smoothly and effectively. I work closely with Zen to brainstorm ideas that could improve the Survival server and make it the best experience possible. I also designed and build almost half of the lobby with Zen before it released to the public. If you have any suggestions for a survival event, I would be the person to talk to! In addition to my managerial role, I enjoy building, creating megabases, and designing large storage systems. I also produce videos on the server under the name Benny490 as well as other games I happen to enjoy at the time. Hope you all have a great stay on the server and cant wait to chat with you all!

Promotions Manager/Arcade Advisor – Ryan
Hi, my name, is Ryan! I am a Retro Game Enthusiast who happens to love Minecraft! On my second channel, I make gaming videos with most of the staff team here at Zephyria but on the main channel, I post remixes of game music from Minecraft music discs to Nintendo games. I have two dogs that I may or may not be in love with and am Benny’s boyfriend (allegedly). Can’t wait to game with you all and hope you all have the best time on Zephyria!
Arcade Advisor – Courtney
Hello, Im Courtney (Rosyrings). I am an Arcade advisor, meaning I help with coming up with ideas and start building them. Who am I? I am a 16 year old girl who is easy to get along with. I love my friends, family, and pets! I also make sure Ryan doesn’t get too insane while he plays on the server and I help to run particular events across the server network. Even though I am the Arcade Advisor, I work across servers and help create/run events. What I do is not limited to one particular server. I also feature in many of the videos made on the server and am just a girl.
Moderator – Sif
Hello, I’m Sif! (In-game: xs1f). I’m a builder in Zephyria and previously played on Trash SMP under the name Zombi. I was also a moderator on the Trash SMP and worked along side everyone in the images above under the “History” section. I love pugerpishes and playing with everyone. Since joining Zephyria, I’ve met so many amazing people, and I can’t wait to meet even more. Excited to be part of this community and see what adventures await!
Moderator – Duck
Hello I’m Duck! I help my buddy ol pal Ryan build in the arcade. My job is kind of like Courtneys but more formal. I joined this year and have mostly been helping Ryan as mentioned before. I have appeared in videos of Benny’s mainly playing Phasmophobia but I love Minecraft too. I’m enjoying my time on the server greatly and hope to make more memories with everyone. I’m a big fan of foxes, building underground, and collecting things. Can’t wait to play with you all and make even more memories!
Janitor – Crow
Hello! I’m Zephyria’s janitor, Crow. One day, near the start of the server, Zen came up to me with a proposition: if I learned Skript, (a plugin that allows writing powerful scripts for the server) he would put me on the staff team and give me an in-game pet crow. Therefore, my job on the server is mainly to write and debug Skripts, as well as manage some of the other plugins on the server. As for the pet crow I was promised, I ended up having to make and add it in myself. There’s a significant chance you might find one or two lying around on the survival server, so keep an eye out.
